Access Better Living Inc. is an organization based in Timmins Ontario, that provides a range of care services to people with disabilities.
The Lonergan Apartment Complex consists of thirteen one-bedroom and two two-bedroom units. All 15 units are rent-geared-to-income. We provide 24-hour Attendant Care Services to adults with physical disabilities living in the Lonergan Complex. Tenants are encouraged to pursue employment opportunities, continuing education and recreation in and out of the Complex.
We also offer Outreach Attendant Care Services, which include personal support and homemaking services. These services can be provided in an individual's home, work place, or educational institution which promotes structure in scheduling and reducing dependence on family and friends.
Our Respite Care program is offered to parents and/or guardians of disabled children and of developmentally disabled adults in order to provide scheduled relief and to prevent caregiver burnout.
